Assignment Objectives:
1. Take one still life photo
2. Save correctly into your documents folder
3. Digitize the photo in Photoshop and save it correctly in your documents folder.
4. Save into your Digital Portfolio folder.
Do in class today:
NOTE: If you are not taking daily photos, you are accumulating zeros that may not be made up except for excused absences.
1. Take a photo of the still life setup in class.
Move in close. Show me the photo for a grade.
2. Load the photo into your documents folder. Show me this for a grade.
If you do not have a photo that you took and loaded onto your computer, you have 2 zeros.
One is for not taking the photo and the other is for not having a photo loaded on your computer.
If you did not take an load photos, drag this photo to your desktop to use for the Photoshop portion of this assignment.

3. For steps 3-11, together as a class, using Photoshop, open the photo and follow the instructor.
4. Go to Photoshop>Window>Essentials
5. At the Photoshop Window, be sure you have checked Layers, Application Frame and/or Application Bar, Options and Tools
6. Save this photo into your documents folder as: your first name and last name_still life 1
7. Convert the photo to black and white.
8. Make an adjustment layer using Levels, and save the photo as a PSD.
9. Copy this photo and save it in your documents folder.
10. Crop the photo
11. Save as your first name and last name_still life 1_BW and cropped. This should be in your documents folder.
12. Keep all today's work open for immediate access
