2. Take a minimum of 5 photos for the shadows assignment. Save in your documents folder. Phones or Nikons. For one photo, use white background and a light to make a shadow on the white background.

Standards

1.2 Demonstrate an understanding of the safe and responsible use of art media and tools. 

1.3 Create visual art that communicates ideas through the use of media, techniques, and processes.

1. Take and upload a digital photo

2. Use Photoshop to apply digital imaging to the photo

3. Send the finished photo as an email attachment

4. Use photography to illustrate the meaning of vocabulary 

Assignment:

Take 5 or more different photos of shadows. 

Load the photos onto your computer

4. Make a new Photoshop document. 

Name: Shadows

Size: 8"x10" or 10"x8"

Resolution: 300 

5. Place the photos in one document. We will do this together. You will probably need to resize.

7. Save as JPEG and email to me at 

topperselfie@gmail.com. Type your first and last name, your block, and "shadows" in the subject line of the email.

Photograph of images that represent the individual letters of your name. First name only is OK.
Collage them together in one Photoshop document.

Note: These should be photos that you take with a camera or phone.

Steps:

1. Photo of letters on computer by Monday or Tuesday.
2. Using theses photos, place letters and spell out you name in one Photoshop document.
3. Save the document in your documents folder and mail it to. The subject line should be my name collage.
